Mmm ..

I suddenly got the urge to bake! I am baking Valentine’s Day cupcakes after class tonight ! [:

Today.

I am sitting at work and I realized I haven’t posted in a while. School is catching up to me. Midterms are over, so I have a small break now. A few more weeks until finals, and a get a week break. I am counting down the days! Sorority events are what keep me liking college. I love being around friends and people who keep me happy.

Oh, yeah, Happy Valentine’s Day. I wish so many people didn’t hate this day; it is a day for love and friendship :]

SF.

I am laying in bed with my best friend, Sal. I was just telling him about my mini-3-day vacation that I had in San Francisco with my boyfriend, Jordin. The lights, Golden Gate Bridge, 49ers game, Chinatown, Alcatraz Island, and the people were beyond amazing. I have been to the East Coast, and I have been trying to figure out if I like D.C. better than SF. Difficult choice. Anyway, I have to go back to work tomorrow, and school resumes on Wednesday.

I am NOT looking forward to the stress and essays that are coming my way. Sigh. I need to stop being Negative Nancy about school. I used to like it, until college.

On December 19, I lost a very special person that I cared for so much .

I  miss you so much Scottie. I can’t accept that you are gone. I don’t even want to see Mariah because she loves you so much, and you were her favorite big brother . Your mom, dad, brothers, friends and Stephanie are devastated. I would do anything to bring you back and take back all the tears that are being shed. All I think about is you, and when I smile, you are in the back of my head. I found so many old pictures of us, and they are all hilarious. I forgot how much you enjoyed taking pictures. You would do any silly pose I asked you to do. & You would always have to look at them afterwards. I can’t help but smile at all the stuff you used to say and do.

Thanks for taking me to my first prom, and for being my main chambelan in my 15añera, and for showing me that Panda Express rice is amazing with tons of salt, lemon and soy sauce.  I miss you so much. I just don’t want you to be gone.

Your funeral is this Monday, and I am going to see your mom and Ty hurting; I don’t know if I can handle that just yet. Ty is going to be just like you when he is older; like you always said. Rest in paradise Will; at least nothing can hurt you anymore.

I will never forget you and your infamous smirk you used to have in every picture.

Christmas & December..

The most amazing time of the year. I love giving presents (no matter how expensive it gets), and I love how everyone seems to be in a happier mood during this time of year. Winter work breaks, college students going home to see their families, and of course.. CHRISTMAS !!

Also, I love the cold so much. I need to move to NYC, or maybe Alaska because Bakersfield is only cold for about a week during the year, and I wish it was -8912466 degrees all the time here.
I am on Winter Break myself right now, and I do not want it to end, ever.
